In the News: Uno the Service Dog

I was looking throuUNO1_640gh news stories today and I found one that caught my eye. It was about a young girl named Miriam Greenbaum who had started having epileptic seizures when she was seven months old. Epileptic seizures occur when clusters of nerves send out wrong signals to the body.

To help Miriam and give her support, her family got a service dog. The service dog’s name is Uno. He barks whenever Miriam starts to seize and nuzzles her whenever she’s having a tantrum. He gives the family support and comfort that no human can provide. Uno and Miriam are best friends and the cutest pair.

I think this story is so wonderful and it made me smile. Hopefully it does the same for you!
